KIPP DC – Hamilton Campus

The Mission

KIPP DC needed a demolition and a new, 130,000 sq. ft. campus building at 1401 Brentwood Parkway, NE, Washington, DC.  MSC was called in to streamline the permitting process and push it through to ASAP completion.

The Response

MSC started working on the project in January 2014.

First step was a client kick-off meeting to establish an aggressive schedule outlining the various packages and phases for permitting scope that included slab and footings, shoring, alterations, parking, demolition and new construction.

THE RESULT

By May 2014 – less than five months after starting – the entire permitting process was completed.
